I know that I'm nearly two years too late to answer this, but, for any future inquiries about this, I also had a crash at Ostagar, but I found a way to fix it. I've also already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, didn't change anything. I wanted to uninstall, but I just can't find where it is in the Dragon Age: Origins folder, and my Nexus Mod Manager says I don't have any mods installed even though I can select an Elven mage with the Dalish start. If I had to guess what was causing it, I did install some mods long ago, specifically one that lets you play an elven mage, but have the Dalish start. ![]() For example, if I instead chose to skip ahead to waking up in Morrigan's cabin after the battle then my characters entire body will be black and Morrigan's entire body, except for her head, will be see through/invisible. I've made a human noble character and every time I've talked to King Cailan and Duncan tells me to wander around camp, the second the game exits the dialogue box the game immediately crashes, sends me to desktop and I get a "Dragon Age: Origins stopped working" message.Īnother thing to note is that in cutscenes, characters are often bugged.
